Ben broke his wrist on Friday when a couple of kids (by ben's consent) through him across the bandroom.

First Lego League Robotics Competition

ben and esther were two of the ten member team: the beverly hills big bad bears robotic team, which competed all day today at upper darby high school for the eastern pennsylvania championship. each team had to build a robot, and attempt to accomplish 9 tasks within 2.5 minutes. ben was a builder on the team; esther, a researcher. esther had to give a small presentation of her research findings to the judges. this years theme was nanotechnology and how it will be used in the development of medical science. although our team did not win (their high school mentor got an award), i am extremely proud of them for participating in this competition and robotics team.
