Field Day at the Kindergarten Center

Andy and some of his classmates having field day at the K-center. It was a gorgeous day -- not too hot and very sunny. Fortunatley, the girls were very well behaved and got rewarded by being allowed to participate in some of the games. Emily had been watching the kids do the races so patiently, and she really wanted to play, so Andy's teacher let her do some of them..

3rd Quarter Honor Roll

Debbie came to school to go to ben's honor roll for me, because ben's and esther's were at the same time. after ben's was over she was able to make it up to the library to see esther. by the way, esther also got 4th quarter honor roll, but they just handed out the certificates in the classroom.

4th quarter honor roll

Ben's 4th quarter honor roll assembly was held outside on the last day of school. It was very hard to hear any of the names the teachers called, because the maintenance guys were cutting the grass right behind the bleachers. Of course, since it was outside on the bleachers, the kids managed to drop their toys underneath and we had to crawl under to get them back. This 4th quarter honor roll was quite an ordeal also, because as of the last day of school, Ben's name wasn't on the list because one of his teachers entered an F instead of an A on his report card. It's been 9 days now and the school is still unable to gain access to the grading system on the computer to correct his grade. Everyday, I get another story about why it can't be fixed yet. I originally thought it strange that the "low-level' administrator I talked to last week urged me to be diligent about making sure the school changed his grade. Now with all the excuses, I understand she really was trying to tell me something. Oh well, hopefully, we'll get a report card sometime next week.

Last Day of School

The last day for middle school was much nicer weather. Here is Ben, Samantha, Judy, Esther, Jonathan, Andy, Nikki, and Emily on the lawn at BH.

Last Day of School

Finally, I have the last day of school picture up on the computer. I almost forgot to take it. For Andy, both the first day and last day of this school year it was pouring rain.
