HIghland Park Spring Concert

Tonight Esther had a cello solo at the beginning and end of "Stairway to Heaven". Even though I'm her mother, I think that I am being very objective when I say that she sounded sooo beautiful! It was some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard played. Unfortunately, the audience did what they so often do, and started applauding before the song had ended, so her solo at the end went unheard except for the last 3 notes when the conductor stuck the microphone practically in her cello so she could be heard over the applause. Afterwards, several people told me how wonderful she sounded. I am so PROUD of you Esther!
